The Macallan Rare Cask

The Macallan Rare Cask is a delicious mahogany red single malt whisky. It's obtained from a wide range of barrels used for maturation. This whisky combines knowledge, passion, commitment and creativity to create something exceptional.

TASTING NOTE
Ruby red color. On the nose, first we feel vanilla and raisins soft notes, and then a sweet mix of appel, lemon and orange. All balanced by a quartet of spices: ginger root, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. On the palate, this quartet of spices is unshakeable. Moreover, the oak is very intense. The vanilla and the chocolate lead at the end with a light citrus zest dab. Warm and woody end.

PREPARATION
It's made with complexity and depth. It's obtained from a wide range of barrels used for maturation at The Macallan Estate. The mix of American and European oak barrels seasoned with sherry made this delicious and unmistakable woody whisky.
