Plantadeta Selección is a red wine coupage of Grenaches of 50 years, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mazuela from vineyards with licorella soil located between 300 and 500 meters of altitude. 'Priorat character, balanced and intense'.
TASTING NOTE
Dark red colour with intense tearing . Balsamic and spiced bouquet (vanilla and cinnamon) where the fruit highlights at the end. On the palate, it's smooth and pleasant with an intense evolution and ending.
PREPARATION
Manually harvested in 'La Plantadeta'. The grapes are immediately skidded with a small machine in the cellar. Fermentation and maceration for 30 days in stainless steel tanks at a cold temperature. A malolactic fermentation is done and then it remains in barrels.
AGING
12 months in new French oak barrels.
