Joan Giné is a red wine coupage of Grenache, Carignan and Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards with Llicorella soils. It is the star wine of the winery Buil & Giné and which bears the name of the grandfather.
TASTING NOTE
Pale red color intense, clean and bright. In the nose it is an intense wine where we can perceive mineral notes and fruit aromas. In the mouth it is balanced, fruity, fleshy, structured and with a long finish. It is a persistent, full and voluptuous wine.
ELABORATION
The varieties, from selected low-yield vines, are vinified separately, at a controlled temperature between 26ºC and 28ºC. The maceration is long, about 24 days. Subsequently malolactic fermentation takes place, the varieties are mixed and introduced into the barrels. Once the aging is finished, the casks are made and the bottles are bottled.
AGING
Aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels at a controlled temperature of 16ºC.
PAIRING
Ideal to accompany red meats, cured cheeses, foie, etc.
