Vila Vi Porrera vintage red wine is a blend of Carignan and Grenache from large Carignan Porrera grapes who has the privilege of owning the Celler Vall Llach.
TASTING NOTE
Dark cherry color. Bright and good layer. On the nose is elegant, intense and presents mineral bouquets of spices, cocoa notes and balsamic memories while in the mouth is a strong wine with nerve and cool. It has an excellent balance and acidity. Long ending.
PREPARATION
The grapes fermentation is done in wooden barrels and stainless steel tanks. Cold maceration during 3 days, fermentation at a controlled temperature between 25 ° and 29 ° C for 17-19 days with daily punching down and remounted soft. 12-day post-fermentation maceration followed by a gentle pressing. 50% malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and 50% in barrels.
AGING
The wine aged in new French oak with light roasted and medium and fine grain. One racking is carried out during the 16 months of aging.
