Nikka Coffey Grain

Nikka Coffey Grain is a single grain Japanese whiskey, distilled mainly from corn in a Coffey that is still in the Miyagikyo distillery.

TASTING NOTE
Golden color of beautiful tone. The nose is fresh and attractive, reveals aromas of ripe pear, cherry and exotic fruits. Citrus notes of orange and lemon appear, giving way to more subtle floral aromas. Pastries, coconut, bourbon and vanilla aromas emerge with the air, with underlying notes of mint. On the palate we find a juicy and pleasant whiskey, it keeps the promises of the nose. Intense ripe fruit with rum and caramel accents. The complexity is developed with touches of licorice and star anise. The middle palate shows more fruit, dominated by pear nectar and quickly passes to the creamiest notes with an omnipresent freshness. It ends with a nice bitter touch very nice.
